I have let the trials in my life overwhelm me. I have let the inconsistent actions of other people become my focus. I had forgotten what Paul talks about and what is repeated in James chapter 1. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kind because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance......James 1:2... Thank-you for all that you do to share your thoughts through "Oil Change." This devotional from Romans has been incredibly thought provoking and full of encouragement to continue to keep Jesus the center of my life. Now, when I have stumbled, the words you have written today have given me the strength to get up and keep going with Jesus my focus, not my trial and struggles.
