Thank You

Well, this is it. We say good­bye to this sea­son of writ­ing. At least for now.

I have thought about what to say in this final Oil Change for some time now. Some of you have been on this jour­ney with me since the very first devo­tional went out on Sep­tem­ber 1st, 2007. Oth­ers of you joined us more recently.

While writ­ing these devo­tion­als has demanded an enor­mous amount of my time, I don’t regret the deci­sion to start doing them at all. It has been pure joy. Over the years I have received so many emails and com­ments from peo­ple around the world. You have no idea how your com­ments have blessed me. Even last week, when I sent out the spe­cial announce­ment, I was amazed at how many replied back.

Again, thank you.

Let me be clear: I’m not going any­where. I will still be writ­ing over at my per­sonal blog. In fact, I will be ded­i­cat­ing much more of the con­tent at that site to the things I’m learn­ing on this spir­i­tual jour­ney. I really do hope you’ll choose to join me over there. Like this site, you can choose to sub­scribe by email and you’ll get any posts I sent in your inbox (just look for the enve­lope icon and click on it).

For those who con­tinue to stay con­nected over at robdale.ca, I’ll chat with you soon. For those who decide not to move over, I pray God’s bless­ing on all you accom­plish for him. Let me close by quot­ing from Jude’s clos­ing state­ments in that letter.

²⁴ Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glo­ri­ous pres­ence with­out a sin­gle fault. ²⁵ All glory to him who alone is God, our Sav­ior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and author­ity are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
