Well, this is it. We say goodbye to this season of writing. At least for now.

I have thought about what to say in this final Oil Change for some time now. Some of you have been on this journey with me since the very first devotional went out on September 1st, 2007. Others of you joined us more recently.

While writing these devotionals has demanded an enormous amount of my time, I don’t regret the decision to start doing them at all. It has been pure joy. Over the years I have received so many emails and comments from people around the world. You have no idea how your comments have blessed me. Even last week, when I sent out the special announcement, I was amazed at how many replied back.

Again, thank you.

Let me be clear: I’m not going anywhere. I will still be writing over at my personal blog. In fact, I will be dedicating much more of the content at that site to the things I’m learning on this spiritual journey. I really do hope you’ll choose to join me over there. Like this site, you can choose to subscribe by email and you’ll get any posts I sent in your inbox (just look for the envelope icon and click on it).

For those who continue to stay connected over at robdale.ca, I’ll chat with you soon. For those who decide not to move over, I pray God’s blessing on all you accomplish for him. Let me close by quoting from Jude’s closing statements in that letter.

²⁴ Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. ²⁵ All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
